Key Responsibilities:
- Tax advisory: Providing guidance on tax-efficient strategies for business operations, investments, and
financial transactions. - Tax compliance: Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns, encompassing corporate tax,
personal tax and withholding tax - Tax audit management: Coordinating and resolving tax audits and examinations with tax authorities.
- Tax research and analysis: Staying up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, analyzing their impact on
the organization, and recommending changes to tax strategies. - Team management: Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and
oversight on tax-related matters. - Revenue monitoring and reporting: Monitoring the work progress (tax admin) status for purpose of
revenue monitoring, preparing weekly report for manager’s meeting and monthly revenue forecasting - Risk management: Identifying and mitigating tax-related risks and exposures.
- Collaboration with internal and external business partners: Working with accountants, and attorneys
on clients' tax-related matters. - Tax policy and procedure development: Developing and maintaining tax policies, procedures, and
documentation. - Special projects: Assisting with special tax projects, such as tax restructuring, mergers and acquisitions,
and international tax planning, GST related issues
Requirements:
- Possessed a degree in Accountancy, Finance, or professional qualification such as ACCA.
- Is an accredited tax professional with SCTP in Income Tax.
- Having an accreditation in GST will be an added advantage.
- Possess strong technical tax knowledge, leadership skills, and excellent communication and analytical
abilities.
