Network and Cybersecurity Manager

Job Purpose:
To oversee network operation and network security, ensuring industry best practice is followed for both the cloud and on premises operations. The position is also responsible for data protection from an IT perspective and working closely with Group Chief Information Officer and other stakeholders to ensure IT governance in TCC is implemented.
Job Descriptions:
- Lead ISD network team in supporting and maintaining LAN, WAN, and cloud operation of all offices and ensuring proper monitoring and reporting procedures are followed.
2. Supervise and manage network team staff.
3. Responsible for defining security protocol, policies, and procedure for data and users.
4. Provides support for the departmental goals and functions.
5. Manage vendors for network and security related matters.
6. Working with ISD team to closely monitor and support IT/IS systems in the Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Manila offices for best performance and integrations.
7. Working closely with Fleet IT manager to support areas in designing and implementing best practices for network and security operation based on vessel’s environmental limitations and factors.
8. Ensuring devices, application software, and management tools are tested, and meets standard security requirements (NIST, CIS, OWASP) before adding to our network.
9. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability both on premises and clouds, and proper Business Continuity Plan is implemented.
10. Ensure proper management of licenses, warranty, and network inventories are kept.
11. Plan and implement system and solutions for office automation as required for better efficiency of the entire office operation.
12. Participate or lead IT Project for an on-time delivery in proper Project Management manner.
13. Architect, and oversee the deployment of enterprise-level router, switches, firewall and other network equipment.
14. To maintain a functional virtual Network Operation Center model using various tools available in the company (e.g. Anti-virus management console, FortiManager, FortiEDR, FortiCloud, Office 365 admin console, etc.).
15. Work collaboratively with ISD staff to maintain and update office IT/IS documents.
16. Ensuring AUP is updated and provide training to users as necessary.
17. Any other assignments as required by DGM, Group ISD / Group CIO.
18. Data Protection Officer (DPO) experience in Singapore is an advantage.
19. Candidates with more experience/qualification may potentially be considered as Senior Manager role.
Job Requirements:
1. Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant discipline with at least 10 years of experience in IT field.
2. Proven experience as Senior IT infrastructure/ Network Manager role for at least 5 years.
3. Experience on project management handling multiple projects at once, prioritize tasks and drive results, PMP certification or formal training is advantageous.
4. Proficient on network, servers, hybrid cloud infrastructure, risk management and Cybersecurity standards and practices.
5. Experience and familiar with SD-WAN implementation.
6. Experience working with management on IT governance, risk and IT audit.
7. Current or previous technical certifications such as CISSP, CCIE, CCNA, Microsoft Azure, Administrator, or Cybersecurity Architect related certification, Cloud technologies, ITIL, etc.
8. Able to work independently with hands on experience on Firewall policies and network ACL on router and switches.
9. Strong leadership, cross functional leadership.
10. Proficient on preparation of budgets, presentations, RFPs and proposals.
11. Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
