1. Recording Financial Transactions
- Daily Record Keeping: Documenting all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Journal Entries: Posting debits and credits to the appropriate accounts in the general ledger.
2. Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Accounts Payable: Ensuring that the company’s obligations to suppliers are paid on time.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitoring incoming payments from clients, ensuring that all invoices are paid on time.
3. Maintaining Historical Records
- Archiving: Keeping organized and accessible records of all financial documents for future reference and audits.
4. Compliance and Auditing
- Ensuring Compliance: Making sure that financial practices adhere to regulations, laws, and internal policies.
- Supporting Audits: Providing necessary documentation and support during financial audits.
5. Communication with Stakeholders
- Internal Communication: Working closely with management, accountants, and other departments to provide financial insights.
- External Communication: Liaising with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies when necessary.
6. Others
- Any other adhoc tasks assigned.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Diploma holder
- No hands on experience finance experience required but must be willing to learn
- Strong interpersonal communication (both written and verbal)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and meticulous
- Ability to work independently and meet tight datelines
- Hourly Rate $10-15
- Minimally 4 hours a day, 3 times a week
