Job Description:
Play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization by working closely with the senior management to develop and implement strategic plans, assess organizational performance, and support key initiatives to advance our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Assist in the formulation and refinement of the organization’s strategic goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with our mission and vision.
- Strategic Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of organizational performance, community needs, and emerging trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on strategic initiatives, progress, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Program Evaluation: Support the assessment and evaluation of ongoing programs and new initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Work Plan Exercise: Coordinate with vendors to plan and execute such exercises for the leadership team. Support the development of annual and mid-year work plans ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- KPI Management: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring accurate and timely updates to track progress towards strategic goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to review and refine work plans, set SMART KPIs, and foster effective communication and coordination.
- SINDA Annual Report: Consolidate programme outreach data for the SINDA Annual Report.
- Meeting Support: Provide secretariat support for key strategic meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools such as Power BI. Experience with strategic planning software is a plus.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, or a similar role, ideally within a charitable or non-profit organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present reports clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and manage multiple priorities.
This is a 2- year contract position, convertible to a permanent role subject to the performance and divisional requirements
