We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Sales Manager to join our team, specializing in enterprise networking solutions, including solutions for internal infrastructure for SME. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Title: Pre-Sales Engineer / Manager
Job Responsibilities:
• Serve as the technical expert for enterprise networking solutions, including enterprise, SOHO, and retail consumers networking products.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored networking solutions that address specific needs, focusing on internal infrastructure.
• Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of networking solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, RFPs/RFQs, and other documentation, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
• Engage with customers to provide technical guidance, answer inquiries, and resolve any technical concerns during the pre-sales process.
• Lead the implementation of PoCs, ensuring successful validation of solutions in customer environments.
• Work with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to communicate customer feedback and influence future product development.
• Provide training and technical support to the sales team and channel partners, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to sell solutions effectively.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or technical role focused on enterprise networking solutions.
Technical Knowledge
• Deep understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, QoS, and wireless technologies.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise solutions, including controllers, switches, and access points.
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade routing and switching, network security, and wireless LANs.
• Knowledge of SOHO networks and SMB infrastructure is a plus.
• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively to address customer challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with system integrators and distributors in Singapore.
• Familiarity with competing networking solutions in the market.
