What you will be doing:
- Leading the CoE team based in India and ensuring accuracy and consistency in collating data centre key indicators across APAC.
- Presenting to clients on the market, developing bespoke reports for key clients and targets
- Pitching to clients, demonstrating our knowledge of the sector
- Collecting, tracking and analysing data centre activity in APAC, identify trends, growth opportunities and challenges, through working with stakeholders that include third part data suppliers, local market teams across all relevant markets, regional DCAT, regional marketing lead for data centres and external clients where required.
- Assessing findings and disseminating across quarterly, biannual and annual research outputs for internal and external audiences, written publications, client presentations, webinars, media and industry speaking opportunities.
- Collaborating and maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders to develop insights that will assist in business development and other revenue driving opportunities for the APAC DCAT at both regional and local market level.
- Answering data and informational queries from all internal & external stakeholders and being a knowledgeable source of truth for the data centre sector as a representative of Cushman & Wakefield.
- Assisting global research team in drafting signature global reports and other relevant initiatives.
- Speaking at industry events and conferences to raise the profile of our data centres capability
- Manage a team of analysts who will be collecting and curating the data for insights for our business and clients
- Domestic & international travel may be required as per business needs.
You are:
- A minimum of 15+ years of experience in a real estate business environment and/or research background with relevant exposure to the data centre sector.
- Undergraduate/master’sdegree in economics/business preferred.
- Good understanding of the data centre industry and data centres as an asset class.
- Highlight proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and data management and analysis platforms, including Power BI.
- Highly numerate and able to obtain, analyse, interrogate, and interpret, real estate, and socio-economic data.
- Proficiency in writing sophisticated insights around data centre sector.
- Understanding of third-party datasets, with a keen willingness to learn and develop a deeper understanding of the creation and maintenance of online and offline database platforms.
- exceptional communication and written skills in English.
- Experience in content generation and working with PR/marketing team.
- Diplomatic and confident in presentation delivery and media interactions.
- Ability to work on own initiative and have a proactive, positive approach.
- Team player and willing to learn.
- Support cross functional business teams with regards to industry updates, insights, and intelligence
