Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

1. Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large distributed systems with microservices.
2. Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc.
3. Translate functional requirements to design.
4. Work with technical SMEs to understand their requirements and ensure these are met.
5. Define best practices and standards for the microservice implementation.
6. Identify and define implementation patterns.
7. Lead activities to build accelerators and tools to increase the quality of deliverables.
8. Evaluates industry technologies to shape design of services in consideration of cost, portability, compatibility, or usability factors.
9. Identifies and makes appropriate changes to technologies, integrated platforms, and systems to meet customer and operational requirements.
10. Continuously seeks to more efficiently manage and utilize technology, platforms, and systems.
11. Highlights design risks, provide alternative options and recommend quality solution to specified problem.

Essential Requirements (Skills Requirements)

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
2. 12+ years of technical experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and development.
3. Strong Hands–on experience in developing applications using Java/J2EE, with Spring boot framework knowledge and experience.
4. Deep knowledge of SOA, Architecture and Design on Microservices, REST Services and Soap Services Development
5. Experience in core java fundamentals, Java 8+, Spring, Springboot, testing framework Junit, Cucumber.
6. Strong hands-on with design patterns, clean code.
7. Strong hands-on in Java Microservices (Springboot) Restful APIs and Soap Services.
8. Experience in designing and coding scalable Microservices.
9. Experience with middleware/messaging technologies such as MQ, JMS, Kafka and exposure to event-driven design patterns.
10. Experience in Spring Cloud.
11. Experience in Azure Kubernetes Service(AKS).
12. Experience in configuring and implementing Azure Open Service Mesh for Pod to Pod communication.
13. Experience in API Management using Azure API Gateway(APIM).
14. Experience in writing deployment pipelines to deploy Java microservices in Kubernetes.
15. Strong in creating/ defining Swagger specs for REST APIs, understand REST principles, Guidelines.
16. Demonstrated knowledge of OAuth token-based authentication protocol.
17. Demonstrated knowledge of PCI and Security Coding Standards.
18. Experience with MSSQL, data modelling, query development and performance optimization.

GOOD TO HAVE

1. Experience in migrating TIBCO services to spring boot microservices.
2. Experience in gaming and Hospitality industry would be an advantage.
