Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Responsible for establishing policies, procedures and standard of SAP master data management to ensure security, consistency in data quality and compliance.
- Develop Process and prepare training documents as needed to optimize overall SAP master data management.
- Provide SAP & IT-MDS end-user training and support in the area of master data management.
- Be responsible and act as the single point of contact for master data queries, issues and escalation to the relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussion between Product / IT / ITMDS/ Global teams to ensure SAP master data has no gaps/error.
- Responsible for improving SAP master data quality and accuracy, including defining data quality standards and establishing data collection SOP’s across BUs.
- Proactively conduct data compliance analysis then prepare/submit data compliance report to management.
- Ensure timely completion of data entry into SAP by users.
- Work closely with Product team on new SKU initiation and facilitate with different functions to complete SAP master data profiles.
- Responsible for liaising with IT teams for SAP MM / SD / PUR system configurations issues and troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with Supply Chain policies, procedures and ethics guidelines are maintained
- Monitoring and improving SAP data quality by Identifying functional data owners and driving them to develop data cleansing plans based on data gaps Identifying issues and solutions for local processes, Reducing errors and redundancies in data.
- Streamlining process in validating and reconciling data as well as processes to ensure system related and structural issues are solved effectively
- Assist in MRP implementation & other SAP related activities
- Participate as a SAP Regional key user and be responsible for data master business process design and governance in upcoming S/4 HANA Project together with SAP/IT Teams and Business Partners.
- Frequent data monitoring and audit to make sure all mandatory fields are inputted correctly by users
Qualification and Experience Required
- Min. Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Possess at least 5-6 years' experience in SAP Master data Management.
- Experience in SAP / S4 HANA is mandatory & advanced Excel skills.
- Strong Analytical and Logical thinking.
- Good communications & problem-solving skills
- A good team player with the willingness to learn new things
- Preferably from FMCG, Chemicals, Oil & Gas with B2C experience
