Requirements
- Polytechnic Diploma qualification (Administrative support) is preferred. Applicants with GCE ‘O’ / ‘A’ Level or Higher Nitec qualifications with relevant experiences would also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications
- Able to work independently with customer service mindset
Job Description
To provide administrative support, library and information services to Institution staff and students. The duties and responsibilities consist of:
- Performing counter services such as loans, reservation and handling of patron’s enquires/requests
- Shelving of returned items and shelf-reading of existing library materials
- Maintaining the order and tidiness of the library e.g. roving duty
- Processing of library materials such as call no. labelling, weeding of library materials, etc
- Providing logistical support for events such as setting up projector, arranging tables and chairs
- Taking up any other duties assigned such as design simple posters using PowerPoint, Canva – for library notices and promotion of library events
- Any other duties assigned
