About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Anergy has an exciting opportunity for a Testing, Installation and Commissioning Engineer/ Manager in Singapore. You will be joining a diverse team of individuals who are passionate about what they do, a team with a proven track record in guiding our clients and leading delivery of our unique HTP (High Temperature Pyrolysis) technology. This is a key position and will form an important part of the Anergy Project Team. This position reports to the Project Director.
As a Testing, Installation and Commissioning Engineer/ Manager, you will coordinate and direct all the factory and on-site activities for installation, testing and final certificate of acceptance of projects. The role will require close interface with local representatives of the client and will be supported by other members of Anergy’s engineering and fabrication team. This is a generalist position requiring knowledge or familiarity across the mechanical and electrical fields. The position will come with a reasonable amount of international travel.

Key Responsibilities:
Factory & Project Site Management
- Manages installation & commissioning activities as per the project methodology at a client’s site
- Engaged in the installation, testing of facilities, equipment and plants to make sure they function correctly and produce the expected results.
- Respond to requests on progress and to all requests from the Project team and client
- Liaise with Client and Project team regarding site works, preparation works.
- Complete quality checks of work to ensure required standards are met.
- Monitor and report progress against plan, highlighting any delays to the Project team in order to mitigate and manage change in the project delivery.
- Complete handover documentation within the required timescales
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, 3rd party contractors and monitor compliance with contract.
- Plan, manage and establish tight controls of company resource/ assets at site and ensure all engineers / contractors are utilized productively at all times, and customer demands are met
- Ensure all projects and company personnel / contractors understand and are operating fully in accordance with company onsite health and safety procedures
Collaborations & Reporting
- Manage the flow of project information between internal stakeholders and clients
- Work closely with the project team on all commercial and contractual aspects for all projects.
- Timely escalation of challenging issues that may jeopardize project success professionally and without bias to Project Director.
Others
- Support ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Profile we are looking for:
The position would suit a well motivated Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with high level technical skills, who can be relied upon to get the details correct. The role will require a lateral thinker who enjoys the technical challenge and innovative agenda the business pursues.
- Degree or higher Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Min 10 years relevant experience
- Previous experience in Installation & Commissioning, Electrical advantageous
- Experience in process plant structural, mechanical and piping design desirable
- Exposure to thermal and materials handling equipment such as kilns, heaters and screw conveyors desirable
- Strong organizational skills, clear communication (verbal & written) and client-oriented focus.
- Ability to interface at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
- Resilient, self-driven, independent team player and able to work well under pressure
- Open and collaborative and dealing with ambiguity and unstructured setting
- High integrity and ethics and a collaborative work attitude
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
