Alternate Saturdays (Bi-weekly): 08:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Job Scope
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on vehicles, including Opel, electric vehicles, and commercial vehicles, ensuring minimal turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections in accordance with the workshop’s service standards and job orders.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship to prevent any rework or return jobs.
- Report unusual repair issues to the team leader that may require major repairs or replacement parts for further recommendation.
- Follow safety, orderliness, and tidiness guidelines in the workshop, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Requisition and collect vehicle and equipment parts from the store to complete work assignments.
- Handle customer vehicles carefully and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Adhere to safe engineering practices as per manufacturer or workshop instructions and procedures.
- Complete work orders for each vehicle and unit service, detailing replaced items, materials used, and procedures followed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team leader or supervisors.
- Assist the team leader in controlling unnecessary use or wastage of workshop materials and non-chargeable repairs.
- Maintain and take responsibility for personal and workshop tools.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians on more complex repair tasks.
- Collaborate with team leaders or supervisors to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- NTC 2 or NITEC in Automotive Technology
- 2-3 years experiences in automotive repair and service industry
