Main Objective: Oversee and control all processes and tasks related to Arthrolab Singapore Medical Education events and support the Medical Education team with corporate events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures all lab and exhibit products are tested for proper function, repairs, replacements, and disposition of obsolete products.
- Responsible for lab inventory management and works with the Logistics Coordinator for the ordering of new products, and replacing missing, damaged, and obsolete components.
- Monitor implant usage and forecasts orders as needed to support medical education schedule
- Perform lab set-up, breakdown, and cleansing of lab equipment.
- Responsible for regulatory inspection of all Arthrex capital equipment in the lab
- Support local and regional medical education events. This includes transportation, delivery, setup, arrangement, and breakdown of offsite labs and exhibits.
- Ensure compliance and local regulatory controls for management of human tissues and radiation equipment
- Purchasing of all supplies necessary for daily operation of the department and offsite labs as needed.
- Coordinate the procurement/disposal of specimens for all events that have such needs.
- Travel in support to offsite events when necessary.
- Become SAP proficient in creating orders and raising PO/PR.
- Full understanding and implementation of contamination protocol.
- Maintenance of lab equipment and facility
- Ensure that the lab facility represents Arthrex as the leader in the industry.
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the Arthrex product line.
Education and Experience:
BS in Management or Bio-Medical Sciences, or possesses related lab experience. Able to show progression towards an in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and surgical procedures. Experience in the orthopedic industry preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Ability to logistically manage a lab environment independently.
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative
- Aptitude to teach and develop orthopedic training skills.
- Knowledge of SAP preferable
- Great planning and organizational skills
