RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the operation of Financial Lines Department to help achieve the planned objectives of the company
  • Support in product and distribution platform development and enhancements of Financial Lines products including Cyber Insurance, by providing user requirements, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and testing
  • Support the handling of underwriting referrals for complex risks referred by Business Units
  • Support business development activities of Financial Lines including quotations, risk acceptance and business inception and renewals
  • Assist to develop and maintain the Risk Acceptance Guide for Financial Lines in accordance with Company underwriting philosophy and changing business landscape
  • Generate management reports
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Tertiary education (preferred)
  • General Insurance certifications
OTHER INFORMATION
  • At least 3 to 5 years relevant underwriting experience in an equivalent position
  • Sound underwriting knowledge of various classes of financial lines insurance
  • Microsoft Office Moderate to Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of insurance systems and processes
