Position Overview:
The Mechanical Engineer is a specialist within EOS Defence Systems (EOS DS) and is responsible for providing mechanical designs that support the product development and product support goals of EOS DS
Primary Duties:
The Mechanical Engineers requires mechanical engineering technical knowledge and the understanding of the mechanical design in conjunction with software design, electronics design and systems engineering disciplines. The Mechanical Design Engineer undertakes design and engineering analysis tasks.

Responsibilities
- Produce mechanical designs that satisfy defined requirements in the specified periods.
- Undertake mechanical design analyses in support of product development activities.
- Undertake test and evaluation activities on mechanical and system designs to verify and sign-off of all design requirements.
- Work with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive and complete system designs; that all requirements are identified, captured and analysed such that design can be developed that satisfy the requirements.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly processes, addressing any design-related issues.
- Prepare and review all documentation required to support designs.
- May be assigned other duties as needed.
