We are looking for a meticulous and organized Finance and Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly and accurately, supporting the overall success of our business.
Position Overview:The Finance and Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for managing all financial transactions related to our gym operations. This includes bank reconciliation for all sales, handling customer refunds, collecting payments from various sources, producing accurate month-end financial statements with a focus on cashflows, processing employee salaries, and handling claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bank reconciliations for all gym sales and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Manage the process of issuing refunds to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect and reconcile monies from all sources of sales deposited into bank accounts.
- Prepare and produce accurate month-end financial statements, with a particular focus on cashflow statements.
- Process employee salaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll policies and regulations.
- Handle the processing of claims, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursements.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with financial audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Work closely with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial coordination, accounting, or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and claims management is a plus.
