Job Responsibilities:
- Able to teach students to interpret and analyse scripts to formulate a lesson plan.
- Able to teach students to use drama as a means to present a simple performance.
- Able to teach students to use drama to design a pedagogical practice encouraging student learning.
- Able to structure and teach an approach to encourage student learning through drama.
- Able to teach students to create a learning environment for effective learning of drama and its use in student teaching.
- Design, prepare and develop documents such as lesson plans and assessment descriptors as well as teaching resources/materials based on course handbook provided by Shelton College International.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in using drama as pedagogy as a practitioner.
- A good undergraduate degree (postgraduate training in drama education and pedagogy is an added advantage).
- Keep up to date on the development of discipline related teaching practices and learning strategies in drama education and its applications.
- Establish and maintain links with the industry and institutions to foster a total approach of academic pursuit alongside industry practice.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by Supervisor.
