Employment Term - 2 years contract
Work location: Seng Kang
Responsible for Testing and Commission (T&C) along with technical support of signaling system for Sengkang Punggol LRT Phase 3 Project.
Testing and Commission
· T&C works associated with LRT signalling system
· Assist to prepare and review T&C procedures and checklists for LRT signalling systems
· Assisting in troubleshooting and rectification of faults in signalling system during T&C
· Communicating effectively with the T&C manager, design engineers, site supervisors, project manager, and other internal stake holders.
· Communicating effectively with various external stake holders e.g. other contractors (System Wide Contractors), Subcontractors, SBST, LTA.
· Any other ad-hoc works assigned by project manager and commissioning manager.
Requirements
· Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Telecommunications.
· Minimum 2-3 years of T&C experience of MRT/LRT.
· Should be conversant with MRT/LRT signalling system based on fixed block philosophy containing Automatic Vehicle Protection (AVP), Vehicle Detection (VD), Computer-Based Interlocking (CBI), Automatic Vehicle Operation (AVO), Automatic Vehicle Supervision (AVS), Position Detection Ground Coil (PDGCs), Station Loop Coil (SLCs), Station Device Box (SD) and Wayside signaling equipment, various communication and logging systems and associated software.
· Should be conversant with LTA’s regulations
· Ability to work as a team with motivation, technical knowledge required for material controlling
· Proven ability to consistently get results and achieve time-sensitive goals
· Strong commitment to the job
· Ability to flexibly adapt to change and challenges, ability to work calmly under pressure and exercise good judgment
· Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff, and individuals both inside and outside the organization.
· Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Able to operate computer programs under Windows such as: MS Office.
