Our client - a financial payment gateway company based in Singapore is currently seeking a skilled leader to oversee IT Infrastructure operations. In this role, you'll collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure to develop and enforce technology policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Head of Infrastructure to establish technology policies and procedures aligned with platform requirements, security, and compliance (e.g., TRMG, PSN06).
- Manage and track the refresh of IT infrastructure equipment supporting critical payment systems.
- Develop and enforce baseline security standards for IT infrastructure.
- Prioritize and oversee the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of IT infrastructure.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and data center operations staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Maintain and update comprehensive disaster recovery plans for infrastructure architecture.
- Work closely with internal technology departments to define and implement infrastructure support initiatives.
- Co-lead a team of Infrastructure Engineers across various disciplines, ensuring high performance and effective support.
- Participate in budget planning and management for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- Engage in IT strategic planning, infrastructure design, project planning, and budget development to align with organizational goals and ensure effective execution.
- Analyze technology trends to develop agile and cost-effective infrastructure strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Min 8 years of progressive experience in medium to large organizations with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing complex infrastructure environments.
- Extensive understanding of data center operations, telecommunications, network engineering, and production support.
- Experience with disaster recovery architecture, including capacity and redundancy.
- Strong skills in process management, quality assurance, incident management, vendor management, and project management.
- Experience with Payment and/or Transaction Banking systems is a plus.
- Experience with Singapore payments industry regulations and cyber hygiene practices.
