RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers
- Maintain and develop customer relations
- Identify and develop new products, services/new market segments
- Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with the Company's Risk Management and Reinsurance guidelines
- Undertake credit control ensuring standard for debtor days are strictly adhered to
- Provide a technical reference point for queries
- Achieve premium growth and profit targets
- Development of balanced portfolio of business from Broker accounts
- Ensure maximum efficient and effectiveness in work processes within the department
- Provide guidance and training for staff
- Provide training for staff & teambuilding
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
- Tertiary qualification and /or professional insurance qualifications
- Minimum Certificate in General Insurance
- Operational experience in sales and servicing of business through insurance brokers
- Business development and relationship building
- Ability to guide and lead staff
- Marketing & Presentation Skills
- Portfolio Management
- Knowledge of Underwriting and Singapore General Insurance market
