Responsibilities
Designer - 2 years contract with full benefits, 2 positions
- Generate engineering plans/schemes for implementation of duct and optical fibre network existing/new residential and non-residential buildings.
- Create project drawings for implementation to facilitate network rollout.
- Ensure engineering planning records are updated.
- Update of engineering data in system.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Residential - permanent role, need class 3 driving license with own transport is preferred, 1 position
- Identify and resolve potential issues prior to provisioning.
- Identify and resolve all new technical issues and resolve them within SLA timeframe by working closely with contractors, Requesting Licensees and internal departments.
- Find long term solutions and implement preventive action to all complaints and disputes to prevent future occurrences
- Handle all CS escalations expeditiously and resolve them within SLA to ensure good customer experience.
- Prioritize and manage all VIP escalations with a high level of professionalism
- Assess contractor performance through respective feedback channels/analytical reports and assess areas of improvement/provide suggestions on SOP enhancements
- Prepare daily / weekly monitoring and analytical reports
- Go on-site to handle complaint cases and audit check on contractors, when required.
- Prepare and check contractor claims (including materials issuance)
- To pick up knowledge and skillsets from other sections within SP to prepare for the possibility of job rotation
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
GIS - 1 year contract with full benefits, 2 positions
- Provide application support for GIS and GIS-related applications e.g., GE Small World, Hexagon G/Technology, Manhole Booking Systems (MBS), Plant Route Plan (PRP), Notification for Commencement of Earthworks (NCE), etc, including data rectification, data synchronization, and incident resolution.
- Monitor and respond to all system alerts and provide daily technical support in terms of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
- Perform incident investigation and resolution, root cause analysis, and problem resolution, ensuring high availability of applications users.
- Perform any administrative tasks associated with GIS and GIS-related applications, such as user account management, log reviews, etc.
- Monitor incident and problem tickets and provide appropriate resolutions on a timely basis.
- Support all internal and external audits for GIS and GIS-related applications.
- Adhere to standard IT service delivery processes in accordance with IT policies and procedures.
- Document and update application configuration and architecture diagrams.
- Work with internal and external parties on technical solutions and solution implementations.
- Manage mini projects / Change Requests and ensure successful implementation by performing regular progress/performance monitoring.
- Ensure that all requirements are captured and work with vendor on the User Acceptance Tests specifications.
- Attend to any other reasonable duties as assigned by the GIS Manager and IT Director
OSS/BSS - 1 year contract with full benefits, 3 positions
- Provide application support for all users on Enterprise and OSS/BSS applications (e.g., Remedy, Service Web Portal, Corporate Portal, Payment Portal, etc). This includes application software configuration, programming, enhancement, and testing based on changing business requirements.
- Work with internal and external parties on technical solutions and solution implementations.
- Manage mini projects and ensure successful implementation by performing regular progress/performance monitoring.
- Ensure that all requirements are captured and work with vendor on the User Acceptance Tests specifications.
- Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with IT policies and procedures.
- Provide support to audit exercises around OSS/BSS applications, the associated interfaces and work with stakeholders to address audit findings.
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or IT HOD.
NOC - perm role, 12 hrs shift job, 1 position
- Attend to escalations from internal and external stakeholders
- Attend to 24/7 NOC phone line and emails
- Perform network monitoring and fault management
- Manage network outage notifications to customers
- Assist with daily SOC (Security Operations Centre) and IT monitoring duties
- Coordination of operation activities
- Layer 1 (fibre optic) network analysis and troubleshooting.
- Manage and respond to facility and security alarms.
- Timely response to incidents/ breaches within Central Office
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by supervisors
Requirements
- Nitec/Diploma in Engineering or any relevant study
- A good team player and quick learning, goal oriented individual.
- No experience is welcome
- East, Mon to Fri, 830am to 6pm
