Duties and Responsibilities of Site Engineer
- Project Planning and Coordination: Review project plans, drawings, and specifications; develop detailed project schedules; coordinate the use of materials, labor, and equipment.
- Site Supervision and Management: Monitor the construction site to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications; implement quality control to ensure construction meets standards; enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify and resolve site issues; provide technical support and guidance.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of work progress, site conditions, and changes to plans; prepare and submit progress reports.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate with clients, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders; attend project meetings, provide updates, and discuss issues.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all work complies with building codes and standards; implement environmental measures.
- Cost Management: Track project expenses, manage the budget, and handle the cost and schedule impact of change orders.
- Testing and Inspection: Oversee the testing and inspection of materials and construction work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other professionals; provide guidance and training to junior engineers and other site staff.
- Others: Working on-site in all weathers, at clients’ businesses or in a site office. Able to work long-term night shift work if required on site.
Working experience : min 2 years in similar capacity
Salary Range : $3000 - $4000
