Responsibilities
- Leading a Team of Civil & Structural Design Engineers to execute the Civil & Structural. Design Engineering of the Project which includes design of Tank foundation, Pump Station,Valve Manifold, Bund wall, Equipment Foundation, Shelters, Pipe racks, Pipe sleepers,Buildings, Roads & Drains.
- Review & Checking of Civil & Structural Design Documents such as design of Tank foundation, Pump Station, Valve Manifold, Bund wall, Equipment Foundation, Shelters, Pipe racks, Pipe sleepers, Buildings, Roads & Drains.
- Interface Management with Lead Engineers, Client, Contractors, Vendors, Government Agencies and Certification agencies.
- Preparation, Monitoring and Control Engineering Document Control List and expedite for delay/ approvals/resolution of open issues.
- Review and Ensures that all works are carried out in accordance with project specification. Maintain Design integrity and quality within the Project Engineering Team.
- Preparing Engineering schedule and Engineering man hours estimation to meet project requirements.
- Participates in discipline and inter-discipline design check and screening meetings for compatibility, completeness and correctness in works.
- Review and Assessment of Geo Technical Investigation Report and design the Foundation accordingly.
- Foundation Design for Storage Tank, Static & Dynamic Equipment, Pipe Rack, RC Building.
- Structure Design for Steel Pipe Rack / support, Steel Shelters, Steel Operating Platforms.
- RC Building Design for Admin Office, Control Room, Substation.
- General Civil works design for Roads & Pavements, Culverts, Storm water drains, U/G OWS
- FEED & Pre-Bid Engineering – MTO for Steel Pipe rack Structures, Shelters, Equipment supporting structures and foundations.
- Preparation of Technical Specification for Works and Technical Bid Evaluation.
- Preparation and Compliance for Engineering Audit Requirements.
- Job assignments, Mentoring and Supervision of works for Designers and Design Engineers.
- Technical assistance to construction activities and attending to Site Queries.
- Coordination with PMC / QP and Construction Coordination.
- Proficient in Advanced Design Tools – Finite Element Analysis & Steel Structures.
- Proficient in American, British, Indian and Euro (UK, Singapore & Malaysian National Annex) standards.
- Implement HSE objectives, policy and company HSE procedures within his authority limit.
- To integrate Risk-based thinking and HSE considerations into business decisions, plans and operations with the commitment to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.
- To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.
- To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.
- Any other ad hoc task assigned .
Requirements
- Preferably Master or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Preferably 15 years relevant working experience on drafting in the plants and systems for projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industries
- Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards on the related field
