We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Executive to oversee our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity in our financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Handle full sets of accounts which include monthly closing, preparation and posting of journal entries into Accounting System, and reconciliations of receivables, payables, bank, inventory, etc.
- Prepare and submit GST returns and prepare Corporate tax computation
- Prepare and posting inter-co billings/transactions.
- In-charge of payable (AP), receivable (AR) and inventory functions including review and processing of payments to suppliers and staff, record inventory movement and sales invoices into accounting systems
- Establish and monitor internal controls and procedures to ensure operation efficiency, company’s resources are protected and expenses are well spent
- Prepare financial, management, ageing and other ad-hoc reports on timely basis, including analysis and commentary relating to information of interest to management
- Liaise and coordinate with auditors, tax agents, banks and other government agencies where necessary
- Take on other duties and projects (e.g. cost review, stock taking, new system implementation, etc.) when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting or other related field
- Prior experience in closing full set of accounts is required
- At least 5 years of working experience in book-keeping and accounting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Words and common Accounting System
- Independent, meticulous and well-organized
- A hands-on team player with initiative and a strong sense of accountability.
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Experience with an accounting firm is preferable
