Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment for our staff. Your responsibilities will include supervising staff, managing inventory, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. You will also play a key role in staff training and development, contributing to the growth and success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the restaurant, ensuring smooth operations.
- Supervise and support restaurant staff, including scheduling and performance management.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues promptly.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Assist in staff training and development to ensure a well-functioning team.
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to implement policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be approachable and team-oriented.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions quickly.
- A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems is a plus.
