DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Clinic Manager, you will provide nursing support to the Imaging Centre:
- Provide nursing assistance to the various stations such as PET/CT, MRI or CT cases, such as positioning of patients, filling in patient questionnaires etc.
- Perform cannulations for contrast injections and assist anaesthetist for sedation cases.
- Monitor patients pre- and post-scans.
- Explain and advise advise clinical procedures to patients and/or family members.
- Monitor and replenish drugs, medical items and other medical inventories.
- Perform general housekeeping in the scanning areas.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess valid nursing license with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Prior experience in a radiology settings will be an advantage
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication and patient-care skills
- Must be skilled in Veno-puncture and IV Cannulation
- 5.5 day work week (1 Saturday-off per month)
- Candidates with more experience may be appointed in a senior role
