Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all products comply with relevant industry regulations and standards, including novel food, product registration, Halal, manufacturing GMP, labeling, marketing collaterals, and Healthier Choice symbols.
- Analyze and apply regulatory requirements in different countries.
- Lead the application and/or renewal of relevant licenses (e.g., SFA, Halal, Healthier Choice Symbols).
- Provide regulatory and community communications to all relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively identify regulatory and quality trends and issues, addressing any gaps.
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and quality control checks on finished goods.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems (policies and procedures) according to HACCP and ISO 22000 standards.
- Conduct investigations related to safety and quality issues, creating and managing the execution of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Conduct and manage shelf-life and other quality tests internally and in collaboration with external laboratories.
- Manage customer complaints related to product safety and quality.
- Provide technical and quality guidance to manufacturing facilities and audit them as needed.
- Halal Compliance:
- Act as the custodian for Halal compliance, ensuring all products adhere to Halal certification standards.
- Collaborate with certifying bodies and oversee the Halal certification process.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with Halal requirements.
- SAP System Proficiency:
- Utilize SAP for managing quality control processes, product tracking, and data management.
- Train and support team members in the effective use of SAP for quality assurance purposes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all QC activities within the SAP system.
- Knowledge Management:
- Develop and maintain a knowledge management system to document technical, regulatory, and quality documentation, including raw materials, product formulation, packaging, nutrition, and specifications.
- General Responsibilities:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as needed to support the Quality Assurance department and overall company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, regulatory frameworks, Halal compliance standards, and HACCP/ISO 22000 standards.
- Proficiency in SAP systems and QC documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
