NEA’s Corporate Communications Division develops strategic communications plans, leveraging media relations, online communications and marketing communications, to strengthen the organisation’s branding and public communications efforts.
As part of a dynamic Corporate Branding team within the Corporate Communications Division, you will manage one of NEA’s key branding asset – the NEA corporate website (www.nea.gov.sg) – to enhance NEA’s reputation as the lead agency responsible for ensuring a clean and sustainable environment for Singapore. Working closely with a team, you will be responsible for optimising the corporate website's effectiveness as a communications tool and reinforcing the NEA brand. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with other communications, marketing, and operations teams to develop content and graphics for the corporate website.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for the following:
• Manage the NEA corporate website, ensuring regular content updates and enhancements.
• Propose and implement measures to ensure a smooth user experience including debugging pages and fixing broken links or images.
• Analyse web statistics, monitor website performance, and collaborate with the IT team to maintain requisite standards of the website, enhance the website performance or address user feedback.
• Work closely with other comms, marcoms and operations colleagues to provide counsel for the corporate website and troubleshoot for internal users.
• Support website revamp initiatives.
• Design graphics for website.
• Monitor online conversations related to NEA’s topics.
[What we are looking for]
This job might be for you if you possess the following qualities or experience:
• Minimally 2 years of experience as a Webmaster, Web Editor, Web Developer or in website management and/or degree or diploma in Computer Science, Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in HTML, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Content Management System (Sitefinity).
• Good understanding of web analytics, including Google Analytics and Whole-of-Government Application Analytics (WOGAA).
• Proficiency in software such as Canva, Adobe Suite and Figma.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Good attention to detail and project management skills.
• Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment, especially during periods of crisis, that would require managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
