Job Role & Responsibilities
- Assists the Facilities Manager in the daily operations of overall security and
fire-safety services - Responsible for maintaining adequate and effective security measures for the school
- Ensure School’s community are safeguarded against loss, damage and/or other untoward accidents
- Responsible and accountable for security team and/or fire command center
- Incident management and reporting
- Supports in executing evacuation plans and/or exercises
- Conducts daily inspection of the entire school compound for safety and security breaches.
- Assist to handle all incidents & feedback in a professional and timely manner from Internal & External Stakeholders and provide prompt responses after discussion with School Management.
- Active monitoring of CCTV Systems
- Assists with investigation(s) on any security related matters as directed by
School Management - Check security duties to ensure they are performed in accordance
- Monthly roster planning and daily deployment
- Assist to handle procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works relating to security department
- Identifies training needs of employees, source suitable training courses and submit training requisition to the Human Resource Department.
- Undertake any other duties or responsibilities as assigned
Has relevant experience within the security industry
Job Requirements
- Has relevant experience within the security industry
- Possess a valid Police Licensing Regulatory Department Security Supervisor license of minimally 3 years.
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and has good organizational skills
- Is professional, discreet and can handle sensitive information
- Upholds professional values, ethics and integrity at all times
