Role Overview and Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Establish the architectural direction for our software solutions, drawing on technologies such as NODEJS, JAVA, MySQL Server, and cloud platforms. Ensure our systems exhibit scalability, security, and alignment with the latest industry standards.
Team Management: Guide and mentor a team of 8 software engineers, nurturing a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and professional advancement. Define explicit objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and endorse career development.
Project Oversight: Supervise the entire software development lifecycle to guarantee timely and budget-constrained project deliveries. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to synchronize development with business objectives.
Process Improvement: Spot opportunities to refine development workflows, augment code quality, and diminish time to market through automation and best practices.
Innovation and Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to delineate and execute the technical roadmap. Integrate new technologies and methodologies to perpetuate our competitive advantage.
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Management: Oversee the complete software development lifecycle utilizing tools like JIRA or Proofhub.
Prerequisites
Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
- C/C++, Javascript/Typescript, Angular/React, NodeJs, SQL/MongoDB.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing large marketplace e-commerce systems.
- Acquaintance with contemporary software development practices, encompassing CI/CD pipeline and automated testing.
Leadership Experience:
- A demonstrated track record in steering software development teams, emphasizing delivering top-notch products in a fast-paced environment.
