Job Summary:
The Logistic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the logistics department, ensuring efficient and effective distribution of goods and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow and scheduling of the logistics department to ensure timely delivery and distribution of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking and reporting to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead, train, and manage logistics staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Continuously assess and improve logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and logistics service providers.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics operations and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- SPM or Diploma’s in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Proficient in logistics software or transport management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
