Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Cross functional responsibilities – integrating IT solutions, Operations requirements into automation solutions
2. Delivering new automated and workable solution for YCH Operations solutions
3. Delivering EV (Electric Vehicle) & autonomous vehicle solutions
4. Engineering competence including but not limited to
   1. Providing layouts with regards to engineering standards and internal procedures
   2. Accurate costing and cost consolidation
   3. Technical alignment between customer, sales & internal partners
   4. Proposal for customers, and internal on the automation technical documents
5. Solutions design competence
   1. Performing basic data analysis of customer data
   2. Defining solutions alternatives that covers the defined requirements
   3. Creating high level material flows of the concepts
   4. Calculating cost and alternative solutions
   5. Price consolidation for presentation to internal and external when required.
6. Budget, plan, implementation, execution and control of operation and capital expenditure
7. Project development and solution plan for infrastructure design, ASRS, and other solution
8. Implement solution for intralogistics planning.
9. Develop, coordinate and implement strategies and policies to reduce cost through automation planning and execution for new and current development.
10. Encourage the use of renewable and sustainable energy resources within an organisation for environment, sustainable, governance.
11. Develop solutions with carbon management and reduction.
12. Liaise and negotiate with contractors, the building supplies industry, council services and other relevant organisations.
13. Benchmark Logistics automation & ASRS against best practice guidelines.
14. Any other task assigned by Senior Management.

2. Education - Minimum Degree in Engineering & Business. Good command of business English & Mandarin
3. Tools – Microsoft Office, Customer Relation Management, Basic solution drafting design software, Project mgmt software.
4. Knowledge of ISO management system and EHS system
