Administrative Assistant (Contract)

Event Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including courses, activities, workshops and celebrations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure event logistics run smoothly.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources.

Administrative Support:

  • Handle general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to events and projects.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials, agendas, and minutes.

Communication:

  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and participants to co-ordinate event details.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to event attendees.

Project Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans.
  • Track project progress and report on key milestones.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative or event coordination role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for event planning and coordination.

Note: This is a contract-based position. The duration and specific responsibilities may vary depending on the needs of the events team.
