The SAP Basis Administrator manages and maintains SAP systems by installing, configuring, and updating applications. The role involves daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and working with other teams to keep systems running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Install and update SAP applications.
- Work with teams to test and maintain software.
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems daily.
- Apply patches and upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Networking teams.
- Support projects and application maintenance.
- Follow corporate policies and assist with audits.
- Maintain Service Level Commitments.
- Complete tasks assigned by the VP of MIS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Basis consultant or administrator.
- Equipped with RHEL and HANA database skills.
- Knowledge of ERP and enterprise-level applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of business systems.
