Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Prepare and finalize monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, inclusive of supporting schedules;
· Prepare consolidated journal entries;
· Review inter-company transactions;
· Prepare analysis of the group financial and management reports;
· Review financial data submitted by finance team of subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and obtain understanding of Group performance;
· Liaise with the finance team of subsidiaries for the submission of financial data and analysis of results;
· Assist in annual audit process and preparation of annual reports;
· Analyze financial processes to identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting;
· Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Pre-requisites:
· Degree in Accounting or CPA/ACCA qualification with at least 3 years of consolidation or audit experience, preferably in Big 4 audit firms.
· Prior commercial experience in FMCG or similar industry, or with Vietnamese Accounting exposure will be an added advantage.
· Ability to work under pressure, take up challenges and meet tight deadlines.
· Strong attention to details, able to work independently and think critically.
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
· Good working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
· Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
