Job Summary:
The Clean Utility engineer is responsible for URS development, design review, equipment or system specification review or preparation, bidding, installation, commissioning and qualification of clean utility equipment & system (PW, WFI, PS, PCA, O2 etc.,) and deliver clean utility system on schedule, within budget and in compliance with EHS, Quality, regulations, related standards and user requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply involved in project design, working with design teams and suppliers to provide detailed designs that meet user requirements;
- Packages URS development, review and approval by end users and related approvers;
- Review, check and approve deliverables including documents, equipment/system of clean utility system produced by contractors;
- Cooperate with the procurement team to complete relevant bidding work, including bidding plan development and approval, technical clarification, technical scoring, etc.
- Lead site installation, commissioning activities of Clean Utility system, working closely with users, vendors, project team to ensure packages delivered on schedule, within budget and in compliance with EHS, Quality, regulations, related standards and user requirements;
- Review technical drawings, specifications and related documents for equipment and systems, including generator & distribution of PW, WFI, PS, PCA, etc.;
- Lead or support CU equipment qualification and other related work in site;
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by department and company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in pharmaceutical of semiconductor industry.
- Experienced in Clean Utility specifications and familiar with international and local codes and standards;
- Professional experience in project management.
- Self-initiative, independent and goal-oriented way of working.
- Familiar with office software, AUTOCAD and others necessary software.
- Good communication, analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
- Good cooperation and communication skills, accept short term business travel in domestic and international.
