Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop automation strategies and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Establishing communication (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, OPC, MODBUS TCP/IP,
- ETHERNET) between hardware controller, SCADA-Stations and field equipment’s.
- Design and program automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and robotic systems.
- Ensure seamless communication and data exchange between automated systems and other business applications.
- Experience in developing Control logic program, Hardware and Communication
- configuration of Siemens PLC based automation Systems. Have worked on Ladder, SCL,
- Basic STL & C-script.
- Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative automation solutions.
- Train client personnel and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
- Carry out Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) design for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Manage the procurement, costing and delivery of electrical software and hardware required
- Make automation programming according to clients’ technical specifications
- Arrange control panel assembly, testing, and installation at construction site
- Modification and Integration of new equipment / system with existing automation system
- Update of SCADA/HMI graphic to reflect new instruments/equipment and mapping these graphics to the corresponding field signals
- Complete automation engineering for entire plant. PLC Control logic, SCADA Software
- Development, Testing and Commissioning, Customer support, Service and Training.
- The Control system is designed to control & monitor the motors, pumps, blowers, fans,
- diverter Valves, Slide Gates, Dampening machines, Weighers and field Instruments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering)
- Supports the development of User Requirement Specifications (URS), Functional Specifications (FS), and Design Specifications (DS).
- Configures HMI and SCADA for production process visualization and control.
- Integrates process instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, valves) into automation systems.
- Collaborates with process engineers to optimize production processes through automation.
- Experience with Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram (FBD), or other programming languages.
- Skilled in the design and configuration of HMI and SCADA systems.
- Familiar with systems such as DeltaV, Siemens PCS 7, and Rockwell Automation.
- Knowledge of sensors, transmitters, and valves, and their integration into automation systems.
- Understanding of validation processes (IQ, OQ, PQ) and GAMP guidelines.
- Ability to translate process requirements into functional specifications and understanding of critical process parameters.
- Excellent written and spoken proficiency in English.
- Minimum 5 years working experience at membrane base water treatment plant, preferably
- Well-versed with SCADA and HMI
- Excellent communication skill
