Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Backend Java Developer to join our team. As a Backend Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
- Working hours : Monday- Friday 10am- 7pm
- Working location : Tanjong Pagar
- Salary Package : Up to SGD7200 (basic) + AWS & VB

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java technology.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement security best practices to protect data and systems from potential threats.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ Proven experience as a Backend Java Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java/J2EE, Spring Framework.
- Experience with backend frameworks and libraries
- Solid understanding of database management systems, Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
