Investment Operations Analyst

Tristar Investment Management Pte. Ltd.

  • Portfolio Reporting and Documentation: Generating investment operations reports, including investment performance & other relevant metrics reports, risk reports, and compliance reports, to stakeholders.
  • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts, and other fund accounting related MIS.
  • Perform periodic reconciliations of financial and investments records.
  • Reconciliation of cash, security positions with bank and custodian statements
  • Ownership of Bloomberg Port Technology – Ensure operational efficiency, data integrity. Progressively enhance reporting capabilities leveraging the full range of system functionalities.
  • Implement improvements and updates to the system to enhance overall functionality and performance.
  • Assist in sundry analytics and reporting.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
  • Working knowledge of investment products, financial markets, investment operations, and industry regulations.
  • Prior experience in fund accounting & investment reporting or related roles is required, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for analyzing investment performance metrics, identifying trends, and conducting risk assessments. The ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights is highly valuable.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced investment operations environment
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement process improvements is crucial for optimizing investment operations and enhancing efficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with Bloomberg / Other portfolio management software.
  • Detailed-oriented and high level of work quality.
  • Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on, takes initiative and be able to work independently.
