As a Buyer (Indirect), YOU are responsible to:
- Work closely with requestors to establish a well-defined scope for effective and efficient sourcing.
- To perform sourcing/source from qualified and reliable sources to meet requirements and specifications.
- Confidently engages supplier and negotiates for the competitive price for the company.
- Perform costing cost analysis and implementation to cost efficient for effective purchasing strategies
- To request pricelist RFQ from vendors.
- Managing contractual T&C and establish contracts agreement with key suppliers.
- Implementing of stablished procedures (including regulatory requirements) and practices.
- Working closely with respective team and to ensure on-time deliveries of goods.
- Ensuring that goods delivered are in quality form and supporting on warranty claims.
- Managing Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order.
- Performing forecast and updates to suppliers and to meet changes in demand.
- Exercising good vendor management.
- Monitoring of the performance of suppliers to meet objectives in quality.
- Inventory control and cost management.
- Engaging in supplier meetings pertaining to feedback and improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma in Supplychain/ Procurement or other similar field.
- At least 3 years working experiences in Indirect buying.
- Team player who enjoys teamwork environment and is able to communicate with individuals at all levels / positions
- Independent, self-motivated, result oriented with ability to work under pressure and willing to work beyond normal call of duty
- Knowledge in SAP and Microsoft skills.
