Job Description:
- Provide support and input for the development and maintenance of an effective and efficient safety management system.
- Full commitment to the promotion of a positive Health & Safety & “Zero Harm” culture in the workplace.
- To develop, review, update, implement & monitor the company's Workplace Safety & Health Acts Policy, Programs & Procedures.
- Monitoring the overall environment, safety and health of the workplace by conducting regular inspections.
- Working closely with production or operational personnel on related issues
- Preparing accident reports and investigations
- Conducting safety briefing and training to employees if necessary
- To increase health & safety awareness at all levels within the organization;
- Compile & maintain in all relevant reports & safety records on lifting devices, pressure vessels, accident records, workers safety orientation/ training & etc. for future reference.
- Advise & prepare on work plan of Project Risk Assessments/ Safe Work Procedures.
- Coordinate in compliance to safe work procedures and maintains good house-keeping
- Review of overall division Risk Assessment Safe Work Procedures & Work Instructions & ensure that it aligns with the latest legislations / Singapore Standards / Codes of Practices if applicable.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years working experience as a safety professional within a manufacturing environment with a locally recognized qualification.
- High level organizational skills & full commitment to Health & Safety is essential.
- Preferably a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower Singapore
