Our Client is a Global Finance Institution looking for a Trade Control Specialist.
Responsibilities
· Consistently deliver high-quality operational support for derivatives, swaps, and cash products.
· Collaborate with Sales and Trading Desks to investigate and resolve issues and inquiries.
· Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to promptly address client concerns and discrepancies.
· Engage with various stakeholders, including compliance, credit, sales, trading, legal, risk, and technology teams, both within and outside of operations.
· Proactively enhance processes and strengthen controls to minimize operational risks for the firm.
· Contribute effectively as an individual while actively participating in team efforts to achieve shared objectives.
· Oversee ad-hoc projects and coordinate with internal and external partners across different regions.
Requirements
· A degree qualification is a must, coupled with expertise in financial markets and hands-on experience in trade support for equity derivatives, swaps, and cash products.
· Strong grasp of the equity and equity derivatives trade life cycle, including corporate actions.
· Capable of thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining top-tier operational standards.
· Focused on risk and control, with an understanding of the potential risk and P&L implications of various processes.
· Ability to visualize end-to-end workflows, comprehending the impact of each step.
· Proactive in identifying solutions, taking ownership, and leading efforts to resolve issues.
· Proven track record in implementing process improvements and optimizations.
· Effective communicator, adept at engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
· Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, and corporate actions is an advantage.
· Skills in VBA, SQL, Macros, and Alteryx are desirable.
