- Coordinate and supervise construction teams and subcontractors for the erection, testing, and commissioning of installation of equipment to the required specification and quality
- Assisting in updating and maintaining the Engineering design database and all relevant documentation in the department
- Attends external project meetings, meetings with consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, daily project meetings, and internal project closure meeting
- Evaluate proposals and ensure technical compliance from suppliers and vendors
- Liaise with consultants, owners, and relevant authorities on their engineering request
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of goods, equipment, and fabricated items
- Manage deviations of original intent / contractual obligations and raise issues of variations with Management
- Monitor the progress of the project and update project status
- Perform engineering design work and liaise with the consultants and customers to meet contractual specification
- Prepare and revise engineering documents, drawings, risk assessments, method statements, safe work procedures, operations and maintenance manuals for all necessary works
- Plan and schedule work activities at sites in accordance to master program and ensure work is conducted in a timely and safe manner
- Reviewing technical submissions of tender documents and preparing relevant documents and drawings for tendering
- Provide technical support in the tendering process
- Prepare progress report, claim, and variation order and prepare company ISO documentation
- Plan and organize as required the design approach and prioritization of work according to work scope and site condition
- To issue final specification/bill of materials for purchase order and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure budget and terms and conditions of purchases are met
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned
- Minimum of at least 12 years of related working experience in a similar role
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
