Roles & Responsibilities
The role will work independently to source for new suppliers according to Direct & Indirect requirements.
Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in:
· Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate T & C of Purchase with suppliers.
· Evaluate quotations, create competitive advantage for best price, lead time and delivery terms
· Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award administration
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
· Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, company’s guidelines and policies
· Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any contractual or regulatory issues.
· Identify cost savings opportunities and manages cost reduction activities to achieve annual cost reduction
· Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on key performance indicators
· Implement corrective actions as needed to address any performance issues.
· Understand the concept of Purchase Requisition, Sourcing, quotation evaluation, till Purchase order placement to Supplier.
· Provide regular updates to management on procurement metrics and performance.
Requirements:
· At least 3 years experience in a Strategic Sourcing in Direct and / or Indirect procurement business environment, knowledge in Construction & Engineering industry Sourcing and Procurement.
· Deliverable-focused, self-motivated with a mindset to excel in a multi-stakeholder environment.
· Good written, verbal and presentation skills
· Self-motivated and open to changes.
· Excellent communicator able to demonstrate communicating effectively with senior management, supplier, and internal stakeholder.
