Responsibilities
- To arrange booking of space for containers.
- To liaise with various departments (Production Planning, Warehouse, Accounting, Marketing) to finalize shipments.
- To coordinate delivery schedule with shipping/transport companies.
- Prepare and file all relevant shipping documents (e.g. BL, Invoice, Customs Declaration Form, Packing List, applying for SFA & Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Origin and Letter of Credit etc)
- To coordinate and process required certifications with respective government sectors.
- To update and monitor shipment data on the shipping plan.
- To handle L/C issued by customers for shipping purpose (submitting to bank, collection from bank, etc).
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum O-Level/Nitec/Diploma in Business studies and above
- Basic computer skill and knowledge of shipping procedures
- Preferably with few years of relevant working experience in a edible oil manufacturing company
- Willing to perform overtime if required
- Candidate who possess active customs declarant account will have add advantage
