Job Description
- Process Optimization and Improvement - Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in steel drum production. Develop and refine process parameters to achieve consistent product specifications and high-quality output.
- Production Planning and Execution - Assist in planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer demand and delivery timelines. Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Equipment and Technology Management - Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and operation of production equipment and machinery. Recommend and implement technological upgrades to enhance production efficiency and quality. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and upkeep.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance - Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality policies. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Collaborate with quality control teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
- Safety and Environmental Management - Promote and enforce workplace safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct safety audits, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable manufacturing practices.
- Cost Control and Efficiency - Identify opportunities to reduce production costs without compromising quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and waste reduction strategies. Track and report on cost-saving initiatives and their impact on overall production costs.
- Project Management - Lead or support projects related to process improvement, capacity expansion, and new product introduction. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met. Prepare project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 4 years working experience in manufacturing environment
- With leadership experience and able to supervise and lead the subordinates
- Willing to work after working hour or during non-working days
- Knowledge in ISO is an advantage.
