Job Description
- Assist the FRC Engineer in the management of the Fault Reporting Centre
- Ensure all the works are carried out safely and in accordance with safety procedures
- Ensure all FRC systems are operational within the acceptable limits and are run safely, effectively and economically
- Manage and assign Corrective Maintenance (CM) and Preventive Maintenance Work order (PM) using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to the maintenance staff accordingly.
- Review completed works and checklists and ensure accurate recorded work order completion
- Coordinate the rectification of faults between the maintenance staffs, vendors and contractors.
- Conduct audit and site inspection.
- Supervise and audit on subcontractor for equipment maintenance and rectification
- Liaison with customer on all maintenance program ensuring minimum disruption to their operations.
- Operate the Building Automation System (BAS) to control M&E equipment and monitors the alarm. Alerts the maintenance teams of any alarms generated by the BAS system.
- Assists in Business Continuity, Emergency Operations and Exercises such as Fire Drill/Evacuation exercise, major equipment breakdowns, major power shutdown, disease outbreak and incidents where deemed to be of top priority.
- Activates Recall protocol for emergency situation.
- Assist in the Development, maintenance and the regular review and test of SOP/EOP
- Support incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Prepare and submit Incident Reports and monthly facilities maintenance/repair report
- Attend to Critical & Non-Critical Breakdown faults upon activation within stipulated KPI timing.
- Undertake any ad hoc assignment requested or delegated by the AFM/FM as required for the operational needs.
- Be member of the hospital CERT and HDS team during emergency activation and carried out the necessary rescue as assign by the manager of the team.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; or Diploma in relevant FM discipline with minimum 3 years relevant experience; or Higher NITEC in relevant FM discipline, with minimum 5 years relevant experience; or NITEC in relevant FM discipline, with minimum 10 years relevant experience.
- Independent and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Team player, enjoy working with team of technicians.
- Good working knowledge with computer such as MS Office.
- Responsible, willingness to learn and take up additional tasks.
- Able to work on rotating shifts.
- Able to work under time pressure.
- Has good personality and is customer service oriented.
