The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:
- Provide direct patient care and chaperone doctor, which include supporting in-room procedures
- Front counter responsibilities include patient registration, appointment scheduling, phone call inquiries, crowd control, etc.
- Booking of appointments in the system such as follow-ups and corporate health screening.
- Able to provide financial counseling.
- Follow up with doctors or clinic staff on completing the information required.
- Alert and rectify duplicate patients’ records in the system.
- Assist in dispensing medication when required.
- Assist in training and guiding new and junior staff.
- Handle billing and collection of payments (cash, NETS, credit cards, cheques) with integrity and accuracy.
- Perform daily closing of collections and alert superiors on discrepancies if any.
- Handle any other administrative duties when required.
Requirements
- Has 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry (Experience working in a GP clinic is a bonus)
- Fresh graduates with healthcare-related qualifications are welcome.
- Experience in clinical duties such as taking blood samples, reading vital signs, etc. will be advantageous.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy
- Good interpersonal skills, a good team player, and good time management skills.
- Willing to learn and the ability to adapt are key attributes for this role.
