Unleash the Roar! (UTR!) is about uplifting the Singapore football ecosystem that will serve to inspire and unite the nation. Co-led by SportSG and the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), it is about the journey that will establish football as a sport with high participation, high performance regionally and internationally, and an economically viable professional career.

For the next 3-5 years, UTR! will expect tremendous growth and scaling. We invite suitablecandidate to join us and be part of this exciting journey.

In this role, you will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resource functions pertaining to recruitment, training and development, payroll and benefits administration for the Unleash The Roar! project. You will assist to review human resource policies, practices and consult executives on strategic decisions to create sustainable change within this project. You will be the point of contact for both coaches and managers of the UTR! project. This requires close liaison with other key stakeholders (Singapore Sports School and SportSG Academies and Clubs) to deliver customised and forward-looking solutions, programs and policies to tackle human resource issues.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with line management of UTR! and NYSI and provide daily HR guidance
  • Analyse trends and metrics with the Human Resource Department of Singapore Sports School
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provide HR policy guidance
  • Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals
  • Evaluate training programs

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of broad-based Human Resource experience
  • Experience in payroll is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • A good team player, highly motivated and performance-driven
  • Good understanding of Singapore employment legislations
  • A degree in any discipline, preferably with post-graduate qualification in Human Resource
