Microsec (www.usec.io) is a fast-growing Singapore based company that has built an enterprise cybersecurity platform that protects against such attacks by facilitating mathematical and computationally optimized encryption algorithms supporting Post-Quantum Cryptography with Machine Learning. To protect from Zero-day attacks, the platform also enables a Machine-learning/AI-based Anomaly detection system that can run on the smallest microcontrollers to the largest supercomputers. The team is looking for its next rockstar candidates to take the company to the next level and safeguard the future of all technologies.

MicroSec (www.usec.io) is looking for a driven, passionate, and outgoing VP Sales & Partnership for its fast-growing IoT & OT Cybersecurity. This person should be naturally very curious, loves technology, and is B2B-minded. This person will hunt/manage leads, set up distribution channels, close end customers, and will later manage a team of sales/partners.

What you’ll do

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive initial sales for the company and establish go-to-market verticals
  • Look for new customers, build an effective pipeline, and identify opportunities for Microsec cybersecurity product suites
  • Analyze market trends for IoT & OT cybersecurity; do competitor analysis; identify unique propositions for customers to add value
  • Drive new business revenue through prospecting, developing, and closing relationships with key target customers
  • Articulating the value of Microsec product suite offerings to commercial prospects
  • Updating CRM and submission of weekly reports
  • Reporting back to the Microsec management team
  • Set Commercial goals in conjunction with Finance, and in line with company goals
  • Working towards Key Performance Targets
  • Expand existing business through nurturing existing customer, partner, and distributor relationships
  • Support Marketing team in providing relevant materials and participating in events & workshops
  • Lead all customer engagement including the negotiation and development of commercial agreements, focusing on operationalising and activating partner sales channels

Partnerships

  • Establish and implement a repeatable and scalable model for the delivery of our solutions via partners and distributors
  • Create engagement blueprints and templates for delivery plans, pricing, product guides, proposals and commercial contracts
  • Proactively manage partners and distributors to ensure maximum leverage and scale is achieved within the desired scope
  • Support partners to win new businesses and take solutions to production

Who you are

  • You have over 10 years of experience in senior commercial roles in high growth technology companies, preferably cybersecurity domain
  • Must have knowledge of relevant Cybersecurity products, solutions, and verticals in the domain of Industrial control systems and enterprises
  • Must have knowledge of cybersecurity technologies like PKI, Intrusion Detection systems, IAM etc.
  • Must have an extensive network of partners in the cybersecurity domain
  • Must have extensive network in various verticals of IoT & OT industries
  • Strong record of delivering commercial KPIs and year on year growth
  • Strong business skills and knowledge. Must have a deep understanding of typical enterprise technology business models and have worked with different GTM strategies across multiple disciplines including Field Sales, Indirect Sales, Marketing, and Post-Sales Customer Success / Professional Services
  • You bring extensive experience in B2B technology sales
  • You possess startup DNA, which means you’re a hustler and thrive in establishing structure amidst ambiguity
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail, pattern recognition, insight generation and the ability to process information quickly to deliver against tight deadlines
  • You have the ability to establish trust quickly, whether that be with customers, partners, peers and team
  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence
  • Determination to own the outcome and be self-motivated and directed
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
