We are seeking a system analyst type of professional that can support in translating our current manual and inefficient workflows to digitalise and automate our processes, based on defined rules, conditions and reduce the manual data manipulation process and unstructured data gathering.
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to inventory levels, demand patterns, and supply chain performance.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources, including inventory systems, sales records, and other relevant databases.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inventory planning team, sales, and procurement, to understand business requirements and develop inventory planning strategies.
3. Identify inventory optimization opportunities, such as reducing stockouts, excess inventory, and improving inventory turnover rates.
4. Conduct root cause analysis of inventory-related issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.
5. Users’ requirement gathering, develop workflow and user cases. Translate the use cases to digital processes to streamline existing manual or unstructured data gathering to improve decision-making on inventory allocation and replenishment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Higher Nitec in business/economy/finance/HR or any other related area
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in an inventory planning or supply chain environment.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain dynamics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
